How does FTIR-Spectoscropy work?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) has the ability to identify gases through their unique spectral signatures, known as spectroscopic fingerprinting. The scanfeld\u00ae sensor analyses the infrared radiation over a wide spectral range at a high spectral resolution. Each gas that is in the field of view of the instrument leaves a compound-specific fingerprint in the measured spectrum. This way the system can identify several hundred gases and is also able to analyze mixtures of different gases.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n
