The scanfeld® early warning system uses advanced remote sensing technology to monitor large areas. Production and storage facilities, large and small, can be monitored remotely for hundreds of compounds, 24/7, up to one kilometer away. It provides real-time visualization of gas distribution and propagation. The system reacts to a wide concentration range – from single-digit ppm to double-digit percentage values, helping to effectively distinguish safety related events from technical emissions.

Unlike some passive methods, FTIR does not require sunlight, making it effective in real world conditions. scanfeld® is optimized for analyzing thermal infrared radiation and features a long-range telescope that scans a high-definition field-of-view for ppm-level sensitivity.
