scanfeld® detects and quantifies any airborne substance by its infrared spectral fingerprint. Our primary focus is on hazardous gases which are either flammable or toxic (or both). These present potential dangers to environment, personnel, and surrounding population.
For toxic industrial chemicals (TIC) the prevention of gas leaks is a paramount safety issue and regulatory requirement.
More than 400 compounds are currently in our database. This includes most typical bulk chemicals such as ammonia, hydrocarbons such as alkanes, cycloalkanes, and benzenes, haloalkanes, chlorofluorocarbons or butadiene as well as many other process gases and intermediate products.
